Healthy water Q&A…
Q: How do I collect my pool water sample?
A: For more accurate test results, take your water sample in a dead spot in the pool – not in front of a return jet or skimmer – by dipping about a foot deep into the water. Collect your sample when the pump has been running for at least an hour. Also be sure to bring your sample in as soon as possible after it was collected.
Q: How often should I test my water throughout the summer?
A: We recommend that you bring your pool water sample to the store for testing when needed or every month.
Q: Are there additional times I should re-test my water?
A: After a heavy rain, storm, or other condition that would cause runoff or other elements to be deposited into the water.
